Corporate benchmarking of practices and initiatives is important to a company's progress in meetings it's goals, the investment community, and to internal management and employees. Many companies are developing corporate wide sustainability initiatives and setting goals. How to measure their improvements can be accomplished by benchmarking with external credibility. This presentation will provide an overview of different sustainability indexes that have appeared to provide guidance to financial investors, and the AIChE Sustainability Index (sm) which was developed to provide guidance to internal company management on comparison to their peers.
